The Color Run is a 5K (3.1mile) race for those looking to just have a good time.  Its not about your time; not about being competitive; not about winning… its about having a great time with your family and friends.  The Denver Color Run will take place on Sunday June 16, 2013.  For more information about The Color Run, please visit their website at www.thecolorrun.com.

  5. I never run. Will I be able to finish the 5K race?

HA! Of course you will!  It’s only 3.1 miles and even slower walkers should have no problem walking the course in less than 45 minutes.  Whether you are a first time runner or an experienced one, running with Team Yachad in The Color Race is all about having a good time

  6. I am concerned that I might not be able to raise the required funds. Will I be able to do it?

Even if you’ve never raised money before, simply explaining to your friends and family what you are doing and why you are doing it, should ensure that you are going to surpass the minimum fundraising goal of $250.  Experience has shown that it is not only possible, but quite enjoyable as you work to reach this goal. Yachad is a worthwhile organization and our runners are enthusiastic about its mission. You will be surprised how friends, family, and co-workers will respond to your effort to run, walk or even crawl for the 3.1 miles to help this wonderful cause. Remember, you are not asking people to make donations… you are asking them to sponsor you and support you in your efforts!

Team Yachad will be with you every step of the way to help you reach your goal! Should you have any additional concerns or questions related to the fundraising aspect, please email us at teamyachad@ou.org.
